Richardson, who has not shot the ball specifically well this series and looks a tad distressed with his 8.7 ppg average in 3 competitions, refused to comment about the altercation following the competition. This is the 2nd suspension handed down in the last month to the Orlando Magic. Forward Quentin Richardson was suspended for a similar incident last month.

Beyond Ricardson, the Orlando Magic will need to get quality play from others who didn’t perform well in this series. Redick, Quentin Richardson, and Gilbert Arenas will need to raise their level of play. Arenas may start to see more minutes with this suspension. Arenas, who was supposed to be an critical piece of the puzzle for the Orlando Magic, appears to have had a falling out with head coach Stan Van Gundy and has spent more time on the sideline then being productive. It should be intriguing to see how this scenario performs out and if it influences Sunday’s result.
