UFC 116 Gambling: Lesnar Will KO Carwin

The UFC 116 gambling main event looks on paper to be pretty interesting for MMA fight gambling supporters.

But it will likely be anything but interesting when the rubber hits the pavement and UFC gambling champion Brock Lesnar and Interim Champion Shane Carwin step into the Octagon.

Lesnar will mop the mat with Carwin in sports betting and pretty likely earn a Knock Out win against the mining engineer from Colorado. Carwin, while his history in the run-up to this UFC 116 probabilities competition could be extraordinary, is just not in the same class as Lesnar as a fighter.

A great deal has been said of Lesnar’s past career in Vince McMahan’s traveling WWE circus as a performing circus clown. His credibility as an MMA fighter has been seriously questioned since his UFC betting debut and proceeds to be all the way up this UFC 116 betting competition. But it’s unfair, and ridiculous, to compare what he’s doing now in the UFC Main Events to what he did in his artificial wrestling days.

Lesnar (4-1) has shown outstanding progress as an MMA fighter during his quick career and has gotten better with every game. He joined the UFC betting as a powerful but raw fighter and gradually his abilities and athleticism have been perfected into a pretty extraordinary MMA betting champion.

Carwin, owner of an ideal MMA gambling history (12-0), has not fought against anybody even close to Lesnar’s talent level inside the Octagon and the UFC 116 probabilities competition will be a rude awakening for the man. The list of competitors that Carwin has defeated against tournament that Lesnar has defeated is truly not even comparable, though naturally the heavyweight division of the UFC right now is a little thin.

But nobody who’s ever fought against Carwin has seen the 2nd round. His extraordinary win over Frank Mir in his last competition at UFC 111 secured Carwin the interim heavyweight title. And with an undefeated history of 12-0, you’d think he’d have earned some esteem. But he is still deemed the underdog by the sportsbooks. Carwin himself has proclaimed that if he touches anybody with his hands, he can KO them. He’s pretty assured in his own abilities.

Lesnar should have his way with Carwin and perhaps even knock him out. But Carwin and Lesnar have plenty of similarities and that may make the UFC 116 gambling competition fairly interesting, at least for a while. Both are aggressive in their fighting techniques and are former wrestling winners.

The 2 were originally set to encounter each other at UFC 106, before Shane Carwin won the interim heavyweight tournament, but Brock Lesnar pulled from the competition due to an illness that kept him from training.

UFC 116 probabilities bettors will likely see plenty of striking and with these powerful men that opens up plenty of possibilities for a Knock Out. And if anybody is going to get knocked out in this UFC gambling game most almost certainly going to be Carwin.

UFC 116 is scheduled for July 3 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. Don’t forget to check out the remainder of the competition gambling action on the card for UFC 116.

Japan vs Paraguay in Tuesday World Cup Gambling

Japan and Paraguay face off on Tuesday in World Cup gambling in sportsbook gambling at the round of 16.

Japan is a big surprise as they finished second in Group E while Paraguay was the Group F champion. Paraguay is the fave in World Cup gambling probabilities at the sports gambling and casino for this Tuesday competition.

World Cup gambling probabilities include Japan in the round of 16 which is a serious surprise. Not just was Japan not supposed to advance from Group E, they were supposed to finish last. Japan in fact got 2 victories in the group to finish second right behind the Netherlands. They whipped Denmark 3-1 to make it to the knockout round. Keisuke Honda and Kasuhito Endo scored goals in the 1st half. Denmark minimized the lead on a goal from Jon Dahl Tomasson but Shinji Okazaki scored to put the competition away for Japan.

Getting a 1st ever World Cup quarterfinal with a win over Paraguay on Tuesday, as stated by Japan coach Takeshi Okada, would be an crucial step in developing football in his nation. After South Korea was knocked out in the second round by another South American squad, Uruguay, Japan is the last surviving Asian squad.

Japan defeated Cameroon and Denmark even with not being deemed a threat in Group E, though they did lose to the Netherlands. The Japanese were terrific as they created a variety of chances in the determining win over Denmark. Honda scored the 1st goal on a nice free kick while Endo did the same. The loss by Denmark was a big surprise. Denmark was supposed to defeat Japan but they didn’t play well and were removed in the group stage for the 1st time in their history.

Paraguay concluded up winning Group F which turned out to be the poorest of all the groups in the World Cup. Paraguay needed just a draw in the last competition against New Zealand which is just what they played for. In what was a pretty dull competition that concluded up scoreless, neither Paraguay nor New Zealand had several chances. Paraguay was pleased to get through to the knockout round since they just needed a draw, though.

Both of these squads want to attain the quarterfinals of the World Cup which neither has carried out so far. This competition will most likely require its methods of play in this competition as Paraguay submits a pretty different kind of play with mental toughness and technical awareness whereas Japans 1st 3 challenger were on the attack.

Paraguay is deemed the better squad than Japan and they’re liked in World Cup gambling probabilities. Paraguay will expect to frustrate the Japanese by slowing them down. The Japanese are hoping their dead-ball prowess and speedy attacks could hold the essential to breaking down the South Americans. Japan has the momentum after a pretty convincing win over Denmark. Japan permitted just 2 goals and scored 4 goals in their 3 group matches while Paraguay permitted just 1 goal and scored 3 goals in their 3 matches. This could be a low scoring match on Tuesday with neither team having much scoring opportunity.

Saturday 2010 World Cup Gambling: Ghana against US

The knockout round is here and the match between the United States and Ghana on Saturday was a hugely anticipated 1 at the usa sportsbook.

The United States squad was finding themselves seriously supported by a suddenly very interested nation that normally doesn’t pay much attention to soccer. The United States obtained a late goal from Landon Donovan to beat Algeria in their previous match in an outstanding performance that had many Americans glowing with pride. Ghana also established progression from Group D last week. The United States was a minor favorite in World Cup sports gambling in this match, and a lot of enthusiasts considered they would go all the way.

When Landon Donovan obtained in injury time, the United States was only 3 minutes away from not progressing from Group C. In reality, videos of the reactions of United States enthusiasts to Donovan’s last-minute goal made the rounds on the Internet, ultimately reaching Donovan himself and moving him to tears. Not only did the United States defeat Algeria but they won Group C and avoided Germany in the round of 16 thanks to the 1-0 win that gave the United States the leading spot in Group C. Instead the US gets Ghana which, on paper, seemed as though a much easier match. England finished second in Group C and they moved on to play Germany in the knockout round. Germany defeated the squad in an embarrassing 4-1 final score, and the English squad were removed at that point.

The United States had played fairly well in the World Cup at that point with a victory and two draws. They have been struggling to score goals though and they’ve also had some bad luck. They easily may have had at least 3 goals in the previous game vs Slovenia and two or 3 vs Algeria. Clint Dempsey has created lots of chances and Donovan has been strong in the World Cup. Also Jozy Altidore and Michael Bradley have performed well. Defensively the United States was giving up a few chances but they have a great goalkeeper in Tim Howard.

Ghana still moved on because Australia upset Serbia in the other match, despite the fact that Ghana was coming off a 1-0 loss to Germany. Ghana and Australia finished equal on points but Ghana won the goal differential. Ghana had the support of the enthusiasts on Saturday since Ghana is the only African squad to make the knockout round. They were certainly reveling in being the final leftover African team at the 2010 World Cup.

Ghana have really had trouble to score goals though they have some ability. They have only two in their 3 World Cup games. Their goalie, Richard Kingson bailed them out time and again vs Germany.

Ghana was simply a squad that the United States may – and nearly certainly should – have been able to beat on a normal basis. It is not that Ghana is a terrible squad. It is that the United States is simply better. So when the United States squad was removed by Ghana with a final score of 2-1 on Saturday’s match, it was a little of a surprise, and probably an emotional 1 to Americans.

Ghana will now be only the third African squad to make it this far by progressing on to the quarterfinals. On Friday they will be competing with Uruguay.

World Cup Gambling Round of 16: Germany vs England

World Cup wagering at the sportsbook on Sunday in the round of 16 could easily be a semifinal or final but Germany and England faced off on Sunday with the loser being eliminated from the 2010 World Cup gambling and bets.

The World Cup wagering odds were about as close as you can get on this game with the English the slightest of favorites.

World Cup wagering has favored Germany and England in each of their group games and neither squad has been excessively outstanding. England did enough to get through as the 2nd place squad from Group C behind the u.s., though it was really unsatisfactory in their 3 group games. Germany at least got 2 victories in Group D, although they were not very outstanding either.

England could have more talent but to date in this World Cup they have not shown much of it. Wayne Rooney hasn’t won yet but at least in the last game versus Slovenia he looked better. He was the one player who could make a big difference on Sunday.

Germany and England have a history of playing fantastic World Cup games. England won 4-2 when they met back in the 1966 final at Wembley. In that final, Geoff Hurst won a hat trick for England. Four years later it was Germany upsetting England in the quarterfinals. The teams met in 1990 in the semifinals and the competition went to a penalty shootout that Germany concluded up winning 4-3.

And for the 2010 World Cup, Germany virtually bashed the English squad to a 4-1 win.

While it was believed that the similarly-matched teams may come down to penalty time in a close competition, that only wasn’t the situation. The English defense was sloppy and the Germans came out fast to a 2-0 lead before the English squad won their point.

At that time, England’s Frank Lampard landed a goal that could have brought the competition to a tie. Unfortunately for the English squad, the goal wasn’t spotted by the referee. The ball bounced a few feet behind the line at the goal, but without delay, the German goalkeeper basically picked it up and threw it back into play. The English squad was denied their point when that basically tricked the referee into believing the ball had not crossed the line.

Germany may think the determination compensates for for 1966, when the English squad was notoriously awarded a third goal even though Geoff Hurst’s shot appeared to bounce down on the line.

England’s coach Fabio Capello believed that goal would have been a turning point for the English squad, and they could have wound up winning the contest after that. However, a superior German squad basically ran away with the game in the 2nd half. Germany’s Thomas Muller won twice to take Germany to a 4-1 lead, giving England their biggest ever World Cup loss.

Germany, who have now attained at least the quarterfinals at every World Cup since 1954, will confront Argentina in the last eight on Saturday.

UFC 116 Betting: Soszynski against Bonnar

There is more the approaching UFC 116 gambling competition than the Main Event between heavyweight champ Brock Lesnar and challenger Shane Carwin, contrary to popular belief.

You can be pardoned for believing that the UFC 116 odds matchups didn’t extend past these heavyweight bruisers as this Main Event match has been receiving all the buzz for the UFC 116 mma fight betting competition for weeks.

But there are lots of fantastic UFC 116 odds opportunities in sports betting and a number of other very great matchups on the Main Card. The light heavyweight match between Krzystof Sosyznski and Stephan Bonnar is 1 very interesting MMA gambling possibility.

When the UFC 116 betting competition at last gets underway in Las Vegas on July 3rd most of the interest and the MMA betting money will be on Lesnar and Carwin and that ought to only generate further online betting opportunities on competitions like the Soszynski-Bonnar competition.

Neither of these competitors is all that great and some UFC gambling fans could even question why competitors of their standing would be included on a UFC gambling Main Event card. These 2 men should beat the hell out of each other and, if not a portrait of fantastic fighting abilities, it ought to be bloody knockout battle to the death, although they could not be all that talented (a combined track record of 37-20).

Soszynski enters the UFC 116 betting competition with a career track record of 19-9, 7 of those victories coming by KO and four of those losses coming by KO. That means the possibility of his UFC 116 odds encounter with Bonnar is extremely likely to end a KO as well, and that is what MMA betting fans love to see.

As a contender, Bonnar isn’t all that different. His career MMA betting track record is a sloppy 18-11. Only 2 of losses have come by KO and only 2 of those victories have come by KO. But this guy can take a punch.

The last time these 2 competitors met up in the UFC gambling competition was at UFC 110 where Soszynski got the better of Bonnar and the fight was called due to doctor stoppage. Bonnar was stopped in the 3rd round due to a cut he got after Soszynski headbutted him. The combination of referee and doctor cut short his plans that night, though a proud Bonnar wanted to carry on the fight. He simply didn’t consider such a minor cut to be a show-stopper. The decision that stated Soszynski the winner that night was his largest issue with the fight. Despite it being clear to everybody in attendance and at home, Soszysnki’s accidental headbutt was overlooked and Bonnar was handed a stoppage loss.

Enthusiasts can anticipate the same sort of bloody, knockdown, drag-out fight as the 1st competition between these as they get back into the Octagon for the UFC 116 gambling competition.

UFC 116 is timetabled for July 3rd at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. Don’t forget to take a look at the remainder of the fight gambling action on the card for UFC 116.

England against Germany World Cup 2010 Wagering Probabilities Lines

The World Cup gambling experience was not meant to play out like this for England. With a lineup loaded with soccer sports gambling superstars the English team arrived at South Africa as the 3rd most liked squad in the World Cup odds to win the whole match.

This squad was meant to start the World Cup sports wagering action by embarrassing its former colony – the US – and showing the Yanks what genuine ‘football’ was all about. And with 3 points under their belts they would then go on to eradicate weakling Algeria and then might afford to sit back and deal with the scrubs in the final Group C match vs Slovenia as they got ready for the World Cup wagering round of 16.

However the English side was fortunate only to move forward from the group stage, as any person that’s been watching the World Cup odds action appreciates.

Though Germany didn’t have to cope with the monumental World Cup gambling hopes of the English side, it had trouble too. After an extraordinary defeat of the Aussies to kick off its World Cup 2010 odds action, the squad fell flat the next match losing to Serbia, before getting a spot in the knockout stage with a 1-0 win vs Ghana.

It was a pretty fascinating soccer wagering matchup between these 2 European squad sides. England genuinely isn’t playing a lot of anything right now while Germany plays a pretty controlled, but surprisingly aggressive offense match.

Germany and England have a past of enjoying fantastic World Cup matches. They met back in the 1966 final at Wembley that England won 4-2. It was also the 1st World Cup match between 2 of football’s earliest foes since 1990, when West Germany beat England on penalties after a 1-1 draw.

And for the World Cup 2010, Germany virtually trashed the English squad to a 4-1 victory.

England (17/10) was the ever so slight favorite over Germany (19/10), but it was the Germans who had the last laugh.

The Germans came out fast to a 2-0 lead before the English squad scored their point, and the English defense was slack. Germany got the 1st goal of the match at 20 minutes with a lengthy punt downfield from Manuel Neuer. It was his 12th at World Cup finals and his 50th global goal. England’s defenders were found from position again for Germany’s 2nd goal as Lukas Podolski slashed a left-footed shot into the far corner of the goal. England got back in the match five minutes later when Matthew Upson headed in the ball.

Then when England’s Frank Lampard was denied an equalizing goal came the competition’s most controversial moment. He punted the ball in from the advantage of the penalty zone. It hit the underside of the bar and bounced two feet over the goal line, and the referee basically did not acknowledge the goal. The match went on with England being denied the point.

And that goal most likely wouldn’t have made the difference despite English coach Fabio Capello’s states to the contrary.

Germany, who have now attained at least the quarterfinals at every World Cup since 1954, will confront Argentina in the last 8 on Saturday.

2010 World Cup Wagering on South Korea against Uruguay

The first possibility to make a World Cup 2010 bet in online sports betting in the round of 16 happened on Saturday as Uruguay took on South Korea.

Uruguay was the leading team from Group A while South Korea finished 2nd in Group B. Uruguay were preferred in World Cup sports betting against South Korea after they had been quite outstanding with 2 victories and a tie. Uruguay is undefeated against South Korea in their four previous games and they looked like the far stronger side in this Saturday matchup.

South Korea played Nigeria to a 2-2 tie and was just able to get through to the knockout round. South Korea finished with just four points but that was enough to get through Group B that was received by Argentina. South Korea looked good in their first game against Greece but then was owned by Argentina. They did what they had to do though against Nigeria and got the point to advance. South Korea includes Park Ji Sung and Lee Jung Soo and quite little else. It figured to be really challenging for South Korea to score against a Uruguay team that had yet to permit a goal in the World Cup.

Uruguay rolled over South Africa in their 2nd game after they played to a tie with France in their first game. They controlled Mexico in their third game to win Group B. Uruguay has the ability to score goals with Diego Forlan and Luis Suarez and they play terrific defense. They ought to have been able to exploit a South Korea defense that has permitted six goals in three games.

South Korea has allowed the first goal in their last 2 games to Argentina and Nigeria. One time they gave up the first goal to Uruguay, they almost certainly had no possibility to win, despite the fact that they came back to get the tie against Nigeria. South Korea has scored five goals but 2 of those were scored as a result of errors by other squads. On defense, Uruguay hardly ever makes any errors. The other three goals for South Korea were scored on set pieces and Uruguay is terrific at defending those. Uruguay has the better offense and the better defense and that’s why they progressed to the quarterfinals with a win over South Korea.

The final score of 2-1 in favor of Uruguay was little surprise to any person. Japan is now left as the only Asian team left with a chance to get anywhere since South Korea has now been eliminated from the World Cup. And their approaching game against Paraguay isn’t genuinely looking too good for the Japanese team.

Huh Jung-moo, South Korea’s coach, stated through an interpreter that soccer in South Korea is a work in progress. He explained that the state of his country’s soccer program is unquestionably in better form now than it was in 2002, when it reached the World Cup semifinals as a co-host nation.

Uruguay’s coach, Oscar Tabarez, claimed that South Korea has grown rather a bit as a team. He appeared impressed with the South Korean team when he said that though they had to lose the game, they leave the World Cup with their heads held high.

FIFA World Cup Gambling Probabilities Argentina versus Mexico

No squad has been as impressive during the World Cup 2010 probabilities online betting tournament as Argentina and no squad has been more fun to watch. Ironically, the Argentine squad came to the South African World Cup online sports betting tournament with all kinds of question marks dangling over its head and, in fact, barely even qualified for the World Cup probabilities tournament in the 1st place.

But credit and apologies to Maradona, the most insane SOB to ever coach a World Cup squad, considering his squad is playing light out right now.

This squad is the closest thing to soccer gambling juggernaut as you’ll find in the World Cup gambling event right now after torching its Group B tournament for three victories in three matches and scoring 7 goals along the way.

Pity the Mexicans.

Mexico has a pretty good looking squad in its own right and versus almost any other squad on this side of the World Cup probabilities draw they would have had a nice chance and might even make a good underdog pick. The all-around play of this squad is impressive and it is hard to pinpoint a single weakness. In one of the hardest groups in the World Cup betting event, Group A, this squad lost a hard 1-0 decision to Uruguay in the final competition but was otherwise impressive.

This squad ought to have been at its top when it took on Argentina but unfortunately it was not enough to get by this South American giant and into the World Cup gambling quarterfinals. Mexico’s best shot would have been to slow the competition down, eliminate the passing lanes and stuff as many defenders as possible in front of the box and prevent any balls from going through to the Argentine striking corps of Messi, Tevez, Higuain and Milito.

The final score of 3-1 was relatively controversial but essentially came down to a greater Argentine squad having their way with a struggling Mexican offense. It would have been suicide for Mexico to even attempt an offensive game plan since Argentina is so fast and so good in the open field and counter attack.

The competition started off with Mexico’s Carlos Salcido scoring in the 8th minute. Things looked good for the Mexican squad until Tevez got his 1st goal and the tide of the game changed. Mexico basically couldn’t get the ball away from Argentina long enough to score from that point on.

Carlos Tevez landed a goal 2 times – once on a disputed goal – and Gonzalo Higuain added another as the Albiceleste defeat Mexico 3-1 on Sunday to go into the quarterfinals.

The second goal, landed by Tevez by proceeding in a pass from Lionel Messi in the 26th minute, was a problem. Tevez was plainly offside when he butted it in. But the referee awarded the goal after consulting with his linesman while surrounded by upset Mexican and Argentine players.

The Albiceleste has claimed this competition and is now one game nearer to the World Cup gambling finals. They’ve moved on to the quarterfinals where they are going to play against Germany.

World Cup Betting Preferred Netherlands vs Slovakia

One of the greatest faves in World Cup soccer betting in the round of 16 was the Netherlands as they faced Slovakia on Monday.

Slovakia had a win, a draw and a loss vs World Cup wagering probabilities at the sportsbook while the Netherlands was unbeaten in group play as they won all 3 of their games.

World Cup betting listed the Netherlands as one of the main contenders to win the World Cup and they’ve lived up to that advance billing. They were arriving from a 2-1 victory over Cameroon in their last game in Group E. The Netherlands has been just hard to beat. They are the first time since Brazil in 1982 to win each one of their qualifying games and each one of their group competitions. Robin van Persie obtained a goal versus Cameroon and Arjen Robben had an assist on the game winning goal. The Netherlands permitted only one and obtained 5 goals in their 3 group games.

Slovakia is an unexpected entrant into the round of 16. Italy was so pathetic that Slovakia was able to move on with a win, a draw and a tie, though they were not expected to move forward to the knockout round. Paraguay won Group F with 5 points while Slovakia ended 2nd with four points. Slovakia came up from last place in the final game up to 2nd place as they whipped defending World Champ Italy 3-2. Robert Vittek obtained two times for Slovakia and they got a pretty shocking win vs the World Cup wagering probabilities. It’s the first time that Slovakia is in the round of 16 as an independent country.

Slovakia may have been able to continue their surprise run if they received more goals scoring from Vittek. Slovakia needed to find a way to get through since the Netherlands has been challenging defensively. Vladimir Weiss, Slovakia head coach, was apologizing before the Italy game for his squad’s play but after that win, he had some folks singing his praises. Slovakia eliminated the defending champ, Italy, by defeating them 3-2 in that game. The players have been pretty unhappy with the media back home and many of them just overlooked reporters after the victory over Italy.

Slovakia advanced to the round of 16 despite being outscored 5-4 in their 3 group games. So it just didn’t seem pretty probable that they would beat the Netherlands in Monday’s game.

It was therefore not that much of a surprise when the Netherlands eliminated Slovakia from the World Cup competition with a final score of 2-1. And even though they were eliminated, the Eastern European squad ought to be happy with making it this far in their first ever World Cup appearance since Czechoslovakia split in 1993.

The Netherlands displayed a few of the amazing passing and scoring that is a brand of the Netherlands when it is playing well.

The Netherlands has now reached the final 8 and will be competing in the quarterfinals. However at this point they will be competing with World Cup juggernaut Brazil in their next game. That’s going to be a much different competition than their relatively simple win versus the weaker Slovakian squad.
